Not Without Hope is a residential retreat on the Isle of Man that provides an opportunity to look back at the journey so far, and to draw strength for the miles to come.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This 24 hour retreat includes sessions on the symptoms of grief at home and at work, and strategies for coping with the onward journey. It also includes a time to walk and reflect (for those who would like to do so) and special opportunities to remember those whom we have lost. Participants are free to say as much or as little as they would like to about their own loss.
COURSE LEADER
Richard Littledale spent 35 years as a Baptist Minister, and has written numerous books for adults and children. He is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4 , BBC Radio Wales and Manx Radio.
Richard's own journey through grief began with the loss of his wife Fiona to cancer at the age of 53. Since then, he has devoted much of his time to working with those who are experiencing all forms of grief. This has included partnering with Sue Ryder Cancer Care to deliver their annual lecture to the Houses of Parliament in 2019 and helping them to launch national awareness campaigns on talking to the bereaved and talking about dying.
He has also delivered training on the subject to Local Authority groups and Christian Leaders.
